From Goodreads: Aria is a teenager in the enclosed city of Reverie. Like all Dwellers, she spends her time with friends in virtual environments, called Realms, accessed through an eyepiece called a Smarteye. Aria enjoys the Realms and the easy life in Reverie. When she is forced out of the pod for a crime she did not commit, she believes her death is imminent. The outside world is known as The Death Shop, with danger in every direction.

As an Outsider, Perry has always known hunger, vicious predators, and violent energy storms from the swirling electrified atmosphere called the Aether. A bit of an outcast even among his hunting tribe, Perry withstands these daily tests with his exceptional abilities, as he is gifted with powerful senses that enable him to scent danger, food and even human emotions.

They come together reluctantly, for Aria must depend on Perry, whom she considers a barbarian, to help her get back to Reverie, while Perry needs Aria to help unravel the mystery of his beloved nephew’s abduction by the Dwellers. Together they embark on a journey challenged as much by their prejudices as by encounters with cannibals and wolves. But to their surprise, Aria and Perry forge an unlikely love - one that will forever change the fate of all who live UNDER THE NEVER SKY.

From Goodreads: It's been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both. Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder,Can their love survive through the ever night? In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and dystopian elements to create a captivating love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.

My Thoughts: Oh. My. Goodness! These books are AMAZING!!! Seriously, don't miss out on them! If you enjoy awesome dystopia novels, then you will fall in love with Perry this series!

Under the Never Sky is told in alternating POV's from Aria (a dweller) and Perry (a savage). Between the two of them we learn that the world as we know it is gone. Aether (a lightning like substances that produces lethal  tornadic-isk storms)  has caused thousands (possible millions) of people to go into the safety of Pods around the world. Their only source of entertainment is the Realms. Better than Real the virtual world is connected through the dwellers smart eyes. They can "go" anywhere and "do" anything. But not everyone has chosen the path of the Dwellers, some, like Perry, have chosen to risk the world outside and brave the aether on their own- forming clans and tribes as they go. Under the Never Sky tells the story of what happens when these two worlds collide.

This story just sucks you in completely, and leaves you turning the last page at 3:00 AM screaming that you need the next book NOW! The plot is just so incredibly original and thick with anticipation. Perry, Aria, and Roar are simply fantastic, deep characters who you will miss terribly once you finish these two novels.

I highly recommend this series to everyone! Seriously, go out and buy it right now!
