Under Construction!

Hi guys!

So I am making some major changes to the blog. During this time, things may be a little wonky, but I still plan on posting reviews until I get things 100% done.

 Since the beginning this has been strictly considered a book review blog, but now I feel like it's time to expand on that. Don't worry though! The majority of my posts will still be book related, but with time comes change. Now I will also be posting brief updates on my pregnancy, family life, and other passions that I may discover. But let me say this once again, THIS IS STILL A PLACE WHERE I WILL DO REVIEWS! Books are my number one passion and that's not going to change anytime soon. I'll still be hosting giveaways, doing interviews, Zack will still be posting his reviews, and of course I will continue reviewing for publishers/ authors/ Netgalley.


I hope you continue to follow me, and I hope to follow more of you as I expand my interests into other areas as well!

The One Where I Got Married...

It's been so long since I've put up any reviews! And I'm sorry, but I promise, I have a really good reason! This past December my long term awesome boyfriend finally asked me to marry him!

Anyway, we I decided (being the most impatient person in the world) that I wanted to get married on March 15...  which was in roughly two months and some change  Surely, I could plan a wedding in that time! It would be a piece of cake! Why would anyone need a year to plan for a wedding?! If any of you have ever planned a wedding, you're probably laughing right now at how naive I was.

Turned out, wedding planning was a lot more to take on than what I had originally thought. But with the help of my awesome family and friends (especially my Maid of Honor and bridesmaids), I was able to get through it with my sanity... mostly!

But now things are finally settling back down to normal and I can come back to recommending amazing books and doing reviews! 

In the mean time though, here's some fun pictures from the big event!

This is Jessa and Ashley! The first time I actually got to "meet" them in person! We found each other on Goodreads a few years ago with our other awesome GReeps! Super fantastic ladies and so adorable together!

I won't bore you with anymore pictures! The only thing you need to know was that it was bookish, and epic, and one of the happiest days of my life :)

On Hiatus

Hi guys!

I have a lot going on in the next two weeks! A LOT! My final exams are coming up and as some of you have probably experienced yourself, professors like to throw in all the last minute assignments they can before they hand out that last little blue book that will set you free for the summer. Also, I'm starting a new job (go me!) and I'm getting prepared to move out of my parents house and finding a place with my wonderful boyfriend.

Basically, all this boils down to one thing: I'm going on hiatus for a little while. I'm hoping it won't be longer then a week, but it may be two. Anyway, here are some good things I have coming up for everyone:

1. Reviews: The Iron Knight, Fifty Shades of Grey, and Fifty Shades Darker
2. A Blog tour featuring an interview with author Heather Ostler and a review of her new book "The Shapeshifter's Secret"!
3. Another in the works blog tour featuring some of my favorite GReeps (Goodread's friends)!
4. And the best part? Well, I'm 11 people away from 100 followers! And because I have a job, I'm going to be hosting my very first give-a-way!

News and Updates

Hey guys, so I have some bad news and some awesome news. First, the bad: I'm going to be scarce for probably about a week on here. I'm having some serious wisdom teeth issues where my tooth has started to "dissolve" for some reason or another and it's exposing my nerve (which really pisses me off because I'm kind of a clean freak about my teeth) and the pain is so intense I'm not getting anything done (which includes sleep). I was scheduled to have them out on Monday, but honestly I just don't think I'm going to be able to wait that long and I'm going to see if they can't do something sooner. But when I come back I will have a review up for "Half-Blood" by Jennifer L. Armentrout, an attempt at my first IMM video (gasp!), and possibly some other reviews if I find that I am able to read during re-cooperating. We shall see.

The awesome news? Tabitha Suzuma author of "Forbidden" has agreed to do an interview with me for the blog! As soon as I get her e-mail back I will post it up for you guys.
